AFI HOTELS
Tiberias Hot Springs health and vacation resort is the largest and most sophisticated mineral spring site in Israel, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
The site consists of three main facilities: the Tiberias Hot Springs National Park, where the spa was first opened in 1929 (including an ancient Turkish bath); the healing treatment center; and the vacation and spa complex.
Guests are invited to relax in indoor and outdoor mineral pools, filled from 17 natural mineral springs with reputed therapeutic properties. An outdoor swimming pool, massage rooms, mud treatments, a fitness room, and a selection of restaurants add to the pampering experience.
The treatment center uses Piloma mud from the banks of the Jordan River, in addition to traditional treatments including shiatsu, reflexology, Thai, Indian, and Swedish massages, aromatherapy, physiotherapy, and thalassotherapy (with seaweed). Some massages may also be enjoyed in the water.
